BIOGRAPHY

Luba is a pianist and a harpsichordist, was born in Russia and since 2008 lives in the Netherlands.

She has graduated from the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory as a pianist and a harpsichordist in 2008.

Luba obtained a Bachelor degree (2012) at the Royal Conservatoire as a harpsichordist and Double Master degree (2014) as a pianist with David Kuijken and a harpsichordist with Jacques Ogg.

 

She won several prizes: a prize winner of the festival “In every music there is Bach” (Petrozavodsk, Russia, 2000), 3d Prize in the international B. Asafiev competition (Great Novgorod, Russia, 2006), 1st Prize on the International Piano Competition “Resonances” (Paris, France, 2014).

 

Luba participated in such projects as “De Avond van de Jonge Musicus”, Grachtenfestival, International Masterclasses for Early Music (Irsee, Germany), International Clarinet Days (Izmir, Turkey), Student Philharmonic (Saint-Petersburg, Russia).

 

In 2009-2015 Luba was working at the Royal Conservatoire, Den Haag as an accompanist.
In 2010-2015 she was working as a piano teacher in the British School The Hague and Virtuosi School of Music.

 

She is currently working with different opera companies and projects: Opera2Day, National Opera & Ballet, Hojotoho Operastudio, McCray Operastudio, The Royal Conservatoire Den Haag and also often invited to accompany auditions and master-classes.
